XIII
Description
XIII wakes up on a beach one day with a gunshot wound to the head. His
amnesia is total: he remembers nothing of his dark past. The only information he
has about himself is a number tattooed on his left shoulder: XIII. But his past
returns to haunt him. Assassins appear out of nowhere and the authorities are
hot on his heels. When he's captured by Colonel Amos, he learns a little more
about himself: he killed the President of the United States!
He can't recall why he carried out the killing, or who put him up to it. But
there's one man who does know - a man by the name of La Mangouste! La Mangouste
has been hired to kill XIII at all costs – but he might well be the key to the
secret. Unfortunately, even with the help of his allies, tracking down La
Mangouste is no easy matter ...
