Capcom today announced an exciting lineup of activities geared towards gaming fans of all ages at the upcoming Comic-Con International: San Diego

Description

The blue bomber is back and bringing his trademark style of platform action to the mobile phone market. In this classic 2D side-scroller, players take on the role of Mega Man as he slides, shoots and jumps his way through a variety of themed stages, ultimately facing off against menacing boss characters. Based on the classic console game that debuted in 1987, Mega Man for the mobile phone platform features all the levels, bad guys, weapons and boss battles that helped catapult the original to blockbuster success.

Features

  • Experience all 7 levels with differing terrains, action and bosses
  • Mega Man mobile contains both classic the Arcade mode as well as a new Saga mode where players have access to unlimited lives for the ultimate Mega Man experience
  • Mega Man features 4 different control schemes for differing play styles
  • Save your high scores to your phone and brag to friends
  • Assemble a diverse arsenal of weapons including the rolling cutter (boomerang type weapon), hyper bombs, thunder beam, fire storm (balls of fire), ice slasher (freezes opponent) and super arm (ability to throw rocks) each with their own inherent strengths and weaknesses to use in taking down the bad guys
