February 28, 2005 – Eurofun has announced the launch of Madagascar – Going Wild, a new game for mobile phones, to be released in the summer of 2005.
The game was developed by Distinctive Developments (developer of the mobile FIFA games).
Get ready for a different kind of adventure. An adventure full of puzzles, humor, stealth and wild animals – in Madagascar: Going Wild, for mobile phones, based on DreamWorks Animation's film, Madagascar.
Madagascar is a computer-animated comedy starring four civilized animals, a lion, zebra, hippo and giraffe. These best friends live in blissful captivity at the Central Park Zoo... until the day they are put on a boat to Africa and suddenly find themselves on an exotic island. Now these native New Yorkers will discover the true meaning of living the wild life!
The User will guide Alex through exciting adventures in various locations, including the New York Subway, an ocean-bound ship and the island of Madagascar. Along the way, Alex will encounter numerous puzzles that must be solved before continuing on his way to find Marty. The player can employ all of Alex's unique characteristics and strengths: Walk, Sneak, Run, Push, Somersault, Crouch, Crawl, Roar and a unique Broadway style move - "Ta Daa!" – that is used for stunning enemies.
The game is implemented in a unique isometric view (2.5D) that emphasizes the graphic details and the depth of the gaming environment. The new action adventure game will include additional special features, including humorous characters, two-speed accelerated movement, great graphic visuals and challenging puzzle elements. Madagascar: Going Wild offers players enjoy 3.5 hours of game-play.
