HUDSON ENTERTAINMENT'S GRAVITY BLAST ROCKETS INTO ORBIT
Original Space Arcade Game Makes its Way to Mobile Phones
Hudson Entertainment, the North American publishing arm for Hudson Soft, today announced that its game, Gravity Blast, will be available for all major BREW and Java handsets. Gravity Blast is a space arcade game where you are tasked with repelling an alien invasion with your revolutionary new gravity drive.
The game is unique in that you pilot your ship using only the gravitational pull of nearby objects in space, guiding it through perilous encounters with wormholes, dark matter, space mines, and asteroids. With over 30 levels of alien invaders and four intense boss encounters, you'll be doing battle in the far reaches of the galaxy in a quest to keep your race from intergalactic annihilation. Physics-based gameplay gives Gravity Blast fun, fast-paced, arcade action in the harsh vacuum of space.
"Mobile gaming fans are looking for new gaming experiences, not just sequel after sequel, and we are pleased to showcase a game like Gravity Blast," said John Lee, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Hudson Entertainment. "The game has an initial simplicity that opens the door for players of all types, but is layered with depth that will appease more dedicated gamers."
