NewsiPad 3 rumored to launch on March 23rd in Germany
Worldwide release rumors point to iPad 3 March release in U.S.
The iPad 3 March release rumors continue to pour in, with the latest suggesting a March 23rd launch for Apple's next-gen iPad in Germany.
The rumored Germany release date comes from iFun.de who disputed an earlier claim from a Chinese microblogging site who shared (via Apple.pro) Apple's plans to release the next iPad in April (following a U.S. release in March).
Despite no concrete evidence, the German site claimed they "heard" the iPad 3 will release in their country on March 23rd.
Last year, Apple unveiled the iPad 2 on March 2nd, with the device becoming available in the United States on March 11th. The worldwide launch came a few weeks later on March 25th.
This year, Apple is expected to reveal its third-generation iPad on March 7th. If true, following the same launch timeframe as the iPad 2, then the iPad 3 would release on Friday, March 16th before its international debut on March 30th.
While the worldwide release date for the iPad 3 remains in question, these latest rumors at least indicate a March release date for the new iPad in the United States.
