Late last year, Rockstar Games released Grand Theft Auto III for iOS and Android mobile devices. For only $4.99 fans could experience the complete console game on-the-go with their mobile devices. Needless to say, the release for mobile devices was a great success and the optimized mobile experience led to a great game.
So with such success, fans wanted to know if there would be any news about Max Payne on iOS. And in their latest Q&A session, Rockstar confirmed that Max Payne 3 will be their "next release for mobile devices".
"Yes – following the release of Grand Theft Auto III for iOS (and Android devices) late last year, the original Max Payne will be our next release for mobile devices," they said.
"We will have an official announcement soon confirming the release date, but you can expect it to finally be released sometime in the next couple months."
